A British Cadbury lover has sparked excitement among chocolate fans after sharing a photo of a discontinued dairy milk bar on social media. The woman claimed to have purchased the chocolate bar from popular retailer B&M, calling it a "throwback" that was well worth the price tag.

Bringing Back Memories

In the photo posted on Facebook, a single wrapped Spira milk chocolate bar can be seen on a counter-top. Spira was a beloved chocolate bar produced by Cadbury, similar to the Twirl bar available today, which consisted of two spiral chocolate fingers. Initially, the brand was only available in certain regions of England but was later rolled out nationwide. Unfortunately, it was discontinued in 2005 due to high demand.

Hope for a Comeback

Alex's Facebook post has given hope to many that the fan favorite may have returned to supermarket shelves. Commenters expressed their desire to find the bar, with some even suggesting it as a Christmas gift. However, others remained skeptical about its availability.

Despite the excitement, retailer B&M has confirmed that they do not stock the Spira chocolate bar.

Cadbury Faces Backlash

This news comes after Cadbury faced criticism for discontinuing another popular chocolate treat, Crunchie Nuggets. Fans of the traditional Crunchie bar were devastated to learn that the product had been taken off supermarket shelves. Cadbury responded to the disappointment, stating that they update their range to cater to changing tastes.

Additionally, Cadbury recently confirmed that their Peanut Caramel Crisp Bar, which they claim to be the "best chocolate bar it's ever made," has also been discontinued. However, the spokesperson assured consumers that there are still plenty of other chocolatey treats to enjoy.
