How it works

Cadbury is reintroducing its Secret Santa Postal Service for the sixth year, offering shoppers the chance to send a free bar of chocolate to their loved ones. To participate, individuals must find a Cadbury Secret Santa Postal Service poster in the UK and scan the QR code. This will direct them to a website where they can enter their personal details and the recipient's address. If the daily limit of free giveaways is reached, participants will be notified. Any unclaimed giveaways will be rolled over to the next day until the end of the Postal Service Period.

What chocolate bars can you send?

Participants can choose from a wide range of chocolate bars to send, including Dairy Milk, Winter Wonderland, Oreo, Caramel, Wholenut, Fruit and Nut, Mini Snowballs, and Vegan Plant bar. A total of 120,000 chocolate bars will be available.

How many bars can you get?

Participants are limited to one bar per mobile number and a maximum of five bars per household.

When will the bars be dispatched?

Free bars obtained through the Cadbury Secret Santa website will be dispatched within one to two weeks.

Comparing prices

Normally, a 360g Dairy Milk bar costs £4 at Tesco, while a 180g bar costs £2. At Asda, a 360g bar costs £3.50, and a 200g bar costs £2 at Aldi. To find the cheapest prices, you can compare prices on Trolley.co.uk.

Supply chain issues

In other news, Cadbury recently apologized after customers found normal-size Twirls in Heroes tubs instead of the bite-size version. This was due to supply chain issues. Cadbury has experienced supply chain issues before, with shortages of Flakes reported in June. Additionally, Christmas chocolate tubs have shrunk in size and increased in price for this festive season.
