How does it work?
The hack involves using two terracotta plant pots, which can be easily found at B&Q. These pots are screwed together to create a simple device. When placed on a stand above a tea light, the pots warm up and radiate heat.

In response to a question from another TikToker about reducing heating costs, '@ecosufficiency' compared the cost of using a terracotta pot heater to that of an electric heater. He found that because tea lights are so affordable, the pot heater may be a cheaper option.
The cost breakdown
B&Q sells a terracotta pot with a diameter of 11.2cm for just £1.58. Asda offers a pack of 100 tea lights for £3.75, which comes out to 3.4p per light. According to '@ecosufficiency', each tea light has about 150 watts of energy, equivalent to 6p worth of heat energy.
However, if tea lights are more expensive than 6p each, it may be more cost-effective to use the heating.
