I’m a Lotto expert – You have the best chance of winning TODAY…here’s why

A LOTTO expert has claimed that punters will have the best chance of winning the golden ticket today.

Gambler Richard Brocklebank, known as The Squirrel, has landed more than £14million for his syndicates and uses mathematics to calculate the odds and viability of any punts.

A lotto expert has claimed that punters will have the best chance of scooping the top prize today

His secret ‘squirrel formula’ has identified the potential for profit from the National Lottery Must Be Won draws – like the New Year’s Eve £15m Rolldown draw.

And the lotto whizz said that the Bank Holiday £20million Must Be Won draw could pay out big time.

This is because the rules changed in 2020 giving bigger pay-outs for smaller wins if the jackpots roll down, which seven of the ten Must Be Won draws since have done.

Under normal circumstances a £2 lottery ticket is expected to return a long-term average of less than 90p.

But when you play a Must Be Won draw the expected value of the ticket can be actually greater than the £2 it costs – and you don’t even need all six balls to net a decent profit.

With these type of draws, when there is no outright winner, the jackpot rolls down and all the lower prizes are enhanced.

Richard, from Hyde, Cheshire, said: “The weekend’s £20M Must Be Won Lotto draw on Easter Saturday 8th April, is the time to be playing some extra lines, as there is a great chance of wins being enhanced.

“I’ve studied this and believe with a little luck we might just be going to the bank with some profits after the Bank Holiday if all goes to plan.

“Since the rolldown rules were changed in late 2020, there have been ten prior occasions where a special £20M draw has been announced and on seven of those occasions, the £20M jackpot went begging.

“This meant that any two-ball wins paid a fiver as well as a Lucky Dip, and the prizes for a three-ball win, instead of the usual £30, were boosted to levels varying from £89 to £128, so three or four times the standard payout.”

And he said that today’s draw has seen money increase around the lower-level prizes.

The top lotto expert said that four-ball wins have gone up from £140 to as much as £330, while a five-ball win could see you bag £11,851 instead of the usual £1,750.

Richard added: “If you’re ever going to have a couple of quid on the Lotto, this is the best time to do it.

“You have a chance of £20M rather than the general £2M starting pot, and if nobody lands it with all six main balls, you will get paid extra for any lower win level achieved.”

The Squirrel Syndicate’s biggest single Scoop6 return was in March 2009 when their selection Russian Trigger won the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter for a then record bonus dividend of £3.1m.

Richard’s book, £3 million in 3 Weeks – The Squirrel Syndicate – A Gambler’s Tale, puts forward the formula he and Charles Yates used to scoop the jackpot.

The lotto expert wrote: “The higher cost of the £2 lottery ticket, up from the original £1, was another negative at first. But the introduction of extra prizes and the making of more millionaires has made it more appealing, and the rollovers are what rock my boat.

“The guarantee that a National Lottery Must Be Won draw will pay out all that money rather than rolling it forward again means there is tremendous value to be had.”
