The four-bedroom home is worth a whopping £3 million

The winner of the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw will get the keys to a four-bedroom, 19th century town house in the desirable North London borough of Islington.

The jackpot is part of a new prize draw which will raise vital funds for British Heart Foundation (BHF).

And the raffle winners won’t have any extra hassle to worry about, as it comes mortgage free with all stamp duty and legal fees covered.

The winner is also given £100,000 cash to help them settle in – and is free to either live in the house, rent it out or sell it.

Renting it out would lead to a hefty windfall, as local estate agents estimate the new owners could rake in up to £7K a month in rent.

Situated just a stone’s throw from central London, the three-storey Victorian family home has also been given a recent refurbishment.

The luxury townhouse strikes the ideal balance of a modern city property complete with time-tested traditional design.

The heart of the home is the expansive, open living space arranged over the entire ground floor of the house.

This includes a reception room featuring oak flooring and an open fireplace standing as a centrepiece to the room.

The reception room leads directly into a bright and airy kitchen and dining space – with the bespoke kitchen featuring a marble centre island and marble topped work surfaces.

Full height glazed doors lead into the garden, which becomes a further extension of the living space in the summer months.

Filled with natural light, there is an open en-suite bathroom on the master bedroom situated on the first floor.

There is a further en-suite bedroom on this level with a mezzanine, together with two further double bedrooms on the top floor, both with ample built-in storage and sharing a luxury family bathroom.

And the courtyard rear garden is designed to soak up the best of the British weather through the warmer months.

A purpose-built garden studio sits against the far wall and comes complete with a fully fitted kitchen and separate WC, providing a useful office space that could also be used as further guest accommodation if required.

The house also offers superb views overlooking the neighbouring park and local cricket pitch – and comes with off street parking for three cars.

Just minutes from all the excitement that central London has to offer – the well-connected Finsbury Park train station is a short walk away, with the Victoria line taking just 10 minutes to reach Oxford Circus.

LIFE OF LUXURY – FOR A GOOD CAUSE

As well as making its grand prize winner a multi-millionaire for just a £10 stake – the London II House Draw will also support the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

The money raised will help the BHF fund groundbreaking research into heart and circulatory diseases.

The draw is being backed by former French international footballer and Tottenham Hotspur star, David Ginola – who back in 2016 suffered a cardiac arrest on a football pitch and was given CPR for nine minutes.

He went on to have a successful quadruple heart bypass.

David said: “I’ve experienced the devastating consequences of heart disease first-hand, the money raised through Omaze’s innovative approach to fundraising will help the BHF continue its truly lifesaving research.

“The partnership between BHF and Omaze is truly magnificent, it’s raising vital funds and awareness for a charity that’s incredibly important to me – and millions of others who are impacted by heart and circulatory diseases.

“Everyone who enters the prize draw is contributing towards this crucial cause – and of course someone is guaranteed to win the dream home in North London too – even if it’s a little too close to Arsenal for my liking!”

Dr Charmaine Griffiths, Chief Executive at the BHF, said: “We are absolutely delighted to join forces with Omaze once again.

“Despite phenomenal progress in research over the last 60 years, heart and circulatory diseases – including heart attack and stroke – kill one in four people in the UK and are the world’s biggest killers.

James Oakes at Omaze said: “We’re honoured to be partnering with the British Heart Foundation again for our London house draw.

“By offering this desirable town house, along with £100,000 in cash, we’re not only giving people the chance to live mortgage and rent free for the rest of their life – but also raising money and introducing charities to brand new audiences.

“We’re incredibly proud that the Omaze community has already raised £8,300,000 for UK charities since we launched in 2020.”

Draw entries for the Omaze Million Pound House Draw are available now at www.omaze.co.uk.

The draw closes on Sunday 26th February for online entries and Tuesday 28th February for postal entries.
