LIDL is giving out Hallowen-themed free doughnuts through its new loyalty scheme app – here’s how to get one.
The freebie is for one Halloween themed ring doughnut, which is coated in an orange glaze and topped with chocolate triangles.
Lidl usually charges 30p for these doughnuts.
If you’re already registered for Lidl Plus, which launched last month, you’ll see the option to get one for free in the “coupons” section of the app.
Once you’ve clicked on it, select “activate” and your offer will be ready to redeem.
You don’t need to spend anything through the app or at Lidl to get your free doughnut.
After you’ve clicked “redeem”, pick up one of the Halloween doughnuts in stores, take it to the till and scan your Lidl Plus card.
You can find your card by clicking on a blue button that says “Lidl Plus card” at the bottom of the app homepage.
Customers can only redeem one doughnut through the offer, and it’s valid until Monday, 12 October.
We’ve asked Lidl if the deal is for existing or new members, or both, and we’ll update this article when we know more.
HOAR is also checking if you can swap the Halloween doughnut for another treat, and if it’s available in all stores.
In the meantime, you can download the Lidl Plus app for free through the App Store or Google Play.
