Fast food chain McDonald's is set to reintroduce five popular menu items in the UK
McDonald's is set to shake up its menu in the coming days, much to the delight of fast food fans across the UK. The chain will be bringing back five beloved menu items, including the much-loved Steakhouse Stack, Cheesy Garlic Bites, and Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramel McFlurry's. The Fajita Chicken wrap, which hasn't been available for over three years, is also making a comeback.
What's on the Menu?
The Steakhouse Stack, priced at £5.49 for a single item and £7.19 for a medium meal, features two beef patties, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, lettuce, and a creamy peppercorn sauce, all sandwiched in a toasted bun.
The Cheesy Garlic Bites, priced at £2.59 for a pack of five or £6.79 for a sharebox of 15, combine mozzarella and emmental cheese in a garlic herb coating.
The Fajita Chicken wrap, available with either grilled or crispy chicken, is priced at £3.49. It comes with creamy fajita sauce, tomato salsa, onions, cheese, and shredded lettuce, all wrapped in a toasted tortilla.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramel McFlurry's feature classic Dairy Milk chocolate and vanilla ice cream, with the Caramel flavor sprinkled with sweet Caramel sauce. Prices for the McFlurry's start at £1.49.
Changes to the Menu
In order to make room for the returning favorites, McDonald's will be removing eight items from its menu on January 3. This includes the Big and Cheesy and Chicken Big Mac, as well as the Cheese Melt Dippers with tomato dip and three McFlurry flavors. McDonald's regularly updates its menu every six weeks or so.
