MCDONALD’S is shaking up its menu again and launching six new and returning items including sweet and savoury treats.

The fast food giant is famous for making changes to its menu every so often.

McDonald’s is adding four brand new and two returning items to its menu

The additions will be hitting Maccies menus from Wednesday (June 21) and will be available in all restaurants.

The new items include a Caesar and bacon wrap which comes with crispy lettuce and bacon drizzled with a creamy dressing.

It’ll cost customers £5.19.

The second new item landing on menus is the mozzarella bites which will come with a tangy tomato dip.

It’s similar to the much loved mozzarella dippers, they just come in “bite” form.

They’ll cost £2.29 for one portion to £6.29 as a sharebox.

For the sweet additions, McDonald’s has launched a double chocolate pie which is made up of a chocolate crust and stuffed with chocolate sauce.

The double chocolate pie will cost £1.19.

And the fourth item landing on menus is the Biscoff McFLurry which HOAR got to try before everyone else.

It comes with the classic McFlurry ice cream, crumbled up Biscoff biscuit pieces and Biscoff sauce.

A small Biscoff McFlurry will cost you £1.49 while a large one will cost you £1.99.

On top of that, Maccies fans will soon be able to get their hands on the double Big Mac burger which is making a comeback.

Also returning to the menu this week is the spicy sriracha wrap.

The Caesar wrap, mozzarella bites and chocolate pie will only be available until September 5 so shoppers will need to be quick.

And fans wanting to get their hands on the McFlurry, the sriracha wrap and the double Big Mac will need to move even faster as they’re only available until August 1.

One fan tweeted recently: “Omg can’t wait!”, while another added: “It’s about timeeeeee!!”

McDonald’s will this week also launch its Saver Meal Deal, available every day from 11am, nationwide.

Meal deals start from £3.99 and shoppers will be able to get their hands on a range of Maccies products.

For example, fans can get a cheeseburger, fries and drink for £2.99 or a mayo chicken, fries and drink for £3.99.

Or they could go for a double cheeseburger, fries and drink for £4.79.

HOAR revealed in February that it was trialling a savers menu at around 120 restaurants across the South East from February and May.

At the time, the fast-food chain couldn’t confirm exactly how much customers would save with the deals.

The additions come just weeks after McDonald’s axed two of its limited edition dips.

Both the Mega Hot Sauce and the Garlic Mayo dips were removed after just three weeks on UK menus.

They hit menus in May as part of the 40th-anniversary celebrations for McNuggets and were only ever going to be around for a short time.

How can I save on my McDonald’s order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald’s.

But always keep in mind menu prices can vary across different restaurants – so perhaps check prices online first to avoid getting a surprise.

You can get freebies on your birthday if you’ve got the My McDonald’s app – it’s free to download and you’ll only need a few quick details to get set up.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you’ll miss out.

You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well if you fill out the quick feedback survey following your last visit.

All you’ll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.

How do I find my nearest McDonald’s?

If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.

Bear in mind that McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.

After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
