Pepsi MAX Mango Hits the Shelves

Pepsi has launched a new fizzy drink, Pepsi MAX Mango, expanding its fruit-flavoured line-up. The beverage, described as the brand's best ever new summer flavour, is now available in supermarkets nationwide. Initially exclusive to Tesco, the sugar-free drink is now within reach for all shoppers.

Joining a Range of Flavours

The new variety joins other fruity options in the Pepsi lineup, including Raspberry, Cherry, and Lime. With more than eight flavours to choose from – including different ranges of diet, caffeine free, and original – Pepsi offers something for everyone.

Pop-Up Event to Introduce the New Flavour

The arrival of Pepsi MAX Mango was previously announced through a pop-up event at several London stations, such as Kings Cross and Waterloo. Commuters were given the chance to taste samples of the new drink before its release. The event also marked the launch of an advertising campaign in collaboration with influencers Nella Rose, Formz, and GK Barry.

Pepsi's Commitment to Bold and Delicious Flavours

Marketing Manager Dagmar Emery expressed excitement about the new flavour, stating, "Pepsi MAX Mango is the latest move in our commitment to delivering bold and delicious flavours that our consumers love. Our Taste Challenge last summer showed that the majority preferred the refreshing taste of Pepsi MAX, and now we've given it an irresistible mango twist to bring a taste of summer, even in the winter months. We hope this new drink will keep Seasonal Denial Syndrome at bay."

Consumer Opinions

Following the release, Pepsi drinkers took to social media to share their thoughts. While many praised the new flavour, calling it the best soft drink available, others were less convinced. Some users voiced a preference for the traditional Pepsi drinks, while others found the mango flavour unappealing.

How to Get Your Hands on Pepsi Mango

UK consumers can purchase Pepsi Mango for £3.75 with a Nectar card at Sainsbury's. Alternatively, a pack of 24 cans is available for a reduced price of £7 with a Tesco Clubcard, or it can be purchased for £10 without the discount.

Pepsi's Reduced Sugar Content

PepsiCo recently made a significant change to its classic fizzy drinks, reducing the sugar content by 57%. The classic Pepsi, which comes in a blue can, now contains just 4.55g of sugar per 100ml.
