CBD use is exploding in popularity, so we decided to test the most popular CBD drink brands available. Cannabidiol (CBD) comes from the cannabis plant Cannabis Sativa, but unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it doesn't cause a high. CBD is commonly used to help with various disorders and ailments, including epilepsy, anxiety, and chronic pain. Many retailers and brands sell CBD drinks, and supermarkets are beginning to stock them. We tested three brands – Hip Pop, Goodrays, and Medahuman – and here are the results.
Goodrays
The Goodrays drink, founded by Eoin Keenan, combined the citrus flavors of Spanish "naranja sanguina" with a sharp note of grapefruit. While it had a nice fizz, it tasted somewhat watered-down. However, the CBD flavor was hardly noticeable, which is a plus for those who dislike the earthy taste of CBD. Goodrays is the most expensive of the three brands.

Hip Pop
Hip Pop, founded by Emma and Kenny, offers three flavors of CBD drinks – blood orange and grapefruit, passionfruit and guava, and cherry and blackberry. The blood orange and grapefruit flavor was enjoyable, and the fact that the drink was kombucha gave it an extra digestive and energy boost. However, the CBD flavor was stronger compared to the other two brands.

Medahuman
Medahuman was the favorite in terms of taste. Its blood orange drink had a sweeter flavor and lacked the bitter taste of grapefruit. It reminded the tester of Fanta or orange squash with fizzy water. The earthy CBD flavor was hardly noticeable, making it a top choice for those who prefer a more fruit-focused taste. With a box of six cans priced at £15, Medahuman is the cheapest of the three brands, although slightly more expensive per 100ml compared to Hip Pop.

In conclusion, all of the CBD drinks tested were decent, but Medahuman's blood orange flavor stood out the most for its taste and lack of CBD flavor. It's also the cheapest option among the three brands. So, if you're looking for a CBD drink that tastes just like Fanta and helps you focus, give Medahuman a try!
