One upset customer took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to ask the brand if they had really gotten rid of her favorite lunchtime snack. Katie Stark wrote to Walkers Crisps, asking, "Have you stopped making Beef and Onion Crisps?"

Walkers responded to Katie's tweet, confirming that Beef & Onion was discontinued last year. Katie, devastated by the news, responded with a GIF of Spongebob Squarepants screaming at the sky, questioning why the flavor was discontinued.

Facebook page Crazy Bout Crisps also expressed their disappointment at the discontinuation of the flavor. Over 60 people commented, sharing how gutted they were. Some fans couldn't understand why prawn flavors still sell while the delicious beef and onion flavor was discontinued. Others shared their frustration at their favorite snacks always being taken off the market.

This isn't the first time Walkers has discontinued a popular flavor. Last month, the brand announced that it had stopped making the Worcester Sauce flavor, leaving shoppers to say their sandwiches are now ruined. In August, Walkers launched two new flavors in collaboration with Pizza Hut, bringing pizza toppings to its Max Ridge crisps.
