Skidmore Stands Firm on Net Zero Target

Skidmore reiterated his commitment to the legally binding target of reaching net zero emissions by 2050. He stated that he cannot support a bill that promotes new oil and gas production. Skidmore believes that action is necessary to avoid a status quo that is unsustainable.

Labour Aims to Overturn Skidmore's Majority

Skidmore currently holds an 11,000 majority in his constituency, which Labour will be hoping to overturn in the upcoming byelection.
