Laura Trott's Rise in Politics

Laura Trott MBE, born on December 7, 1984 in Oxted, Surrey, England, is a rising star in the Conservative Party. She previously served as a special adviser to David Cameron and later became the MP for Sevenoaks. Trott joined the Commons health and social care committee and was an early supporter of Rishi Sunak. She was recently appointed Chief Secretary to the Treasury in the November 2023 Cabinet reshuffle.
