Templegate – JAPAN can give Aidan O’Brien a fourth Prince Of Wales’s Stakes success. He did nothing but improve last season. He was half a length away from winning the Derby in June before coming here to take the King Edward VII Stakes.
He followed that with victory in the Grand Prix De Paris at Longchamp and Juddmonte International over this trip at York.
Matt Chapman – JAPAN will probably be odds-on and deservedly so. O’Brien’s colt has long been the apple of Ryan Moore’s eye, and his win in the Juddmonte International at York is fine form. I can’t see any of these stopping him.
Trends – JAPAN looks set to land another Group 1 success according to all the stats.
