Taking to TikTok, Lynsey revealed her step-by-step process for revamping her beloved slip-on Uggs in preparation for the colder seasons. According to Lynsey, a little TLC is all it takes to maintain their appearance and keep them looking good for longer.
In between washes, Lynsey suggests spritzing the slippers with dry hair shampoo or letting them air outside to keep them fresh.
The Best Way to Wash Your Slippers
When it comes to giving your Ugg slippers a deep clean in the washing machine, Lynsey shares her expert advice to ensure you don't ruin their quality. Firstly, make sure the slippers are the only thing in the washing machine.
Use a wool specific laundry detergent and add a scoop of bicarbonate soda in the drum to bring back the fluffiness and banish odours. Set the washing machine to the wool setting, or if you don't have that option, choose a cool temperature (preferably below 30 degrees) and a gentle spin cycle.
