KATE Middleton will reunite with cookery queen Mary Berry in a festive TV special this Christmas.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, is set to make a special appearance on Marys BBC1 seasonal special.

Kate Middleton and Mary Berry are teaming up to film a Christmas TV show together

The pair have bonded over their charity work, and the new programme is expected to see the duo create a feast for volunteers working over the festive period.

According to the Mirror, the event could even be hosted at a royal venue with Mary, 84, in charge of food and Kate helping out.

Speaking to the Mirror a source said: Between them they will bring seasonal goodwill to their guests and to the millions of viewers watching. Expect a properly uplifting Christmas treat.

The programme has begun filming and currently has the working title of The Mary Berry Royal Christmas Show and is set to air on the BBC next month.

The Duchess and Mary first met back in 2013 at an event for Child Bereavement UK which the two women are patrons for.

And they were reunited in September at the Royal Horticultural Society Garden in Surrey

Mary, a RHS ambassador, joined the royal to open the garden designed by Kate.
