MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have shared their best wishes with their New Zealand followers on Waitangi Day.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took to their official Instagram account SussexRoyal Instagram account where they shared a throwback snaps of their tour of the country in 2018.

They shared a message written partly in English and partly in Maori
The photos capture Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, during the celebrations two years ago while visiting New Zealand.
The post was captioned: To all of our Kiwi followers, sending our very best to each of you on Waitangi Day!
As a commonwealth country and a realm, today we honour the spirit and diversity of New Zealand, and we feel particularly reminded of the special time we had there during our tour in 2018.

The photos were shared on the Sussex Royal Instagram account
They also shared a message of heartfelt thanks to all New Zealanders which was written in the native language of Maori.
The national day commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, New Zealand’s founding document, on February 6 1840.
It has been a public holiday in New Zealand since the 1960s, but is marked by ex-pats in London with a huge pub crawl around the capital.
At almost exactly the same time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had also shared an Instagram post marking the occasion on their own Kensington Palace account.

However, William and Kate chose to write their message in Maori first
They too had posted photos from their own tour of New Zealand back in 2014.
They began their post with a message written in Maori, followed by one in English which read: Today marks New Zealands national holiday #WaitangiDay Sending our best wishes to all of our followers in New Zealand.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussexs Instagram page is now the most followed royal account, having overtaken over from Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The SussexRoyal page currently has 11,185,657 followers, with the KensingtonRoyal account lagging just behind with 11,144,8083.

The couple revealed their shock news they were stepping back from the royal family last month, and within a matter of days gained half a million followers, with the number steadily rising.
Meghan and Prince Harry are currently living in Canada, and the duchess has been seen visiting a number of initiatives and organisations.
They appear to be hoping to turn their brand into a money-making global empire that could be worth millions after launching their slick new website, sussexroyal.com.
Its website shows that “Sussex Royal” has applied to have its trademark on printed matter, including teaching material, books, magazines, brochures, calendars, posters, postcards and artists’ material.
The SussexRoyal broke records when it was launched on April 2 last year.
It became the fastest account to reach one million followers in less than six hours, Guinness World Records confirmed.
This was later beaten by Jennifer Aniston who reached a million followers in five hours 45 minutes, when she joined the site in October.
