EASTENDERS fans are convinced they’ve ‘worked out’ the identity of the Christmas killer in flash-forward scene after spotting a clue.

The BBC soap teased a shock killing for Christmas in last month’s flash-forward featuring six iconic characters.

Nish calls a truce with Sharon and Keanu as they celebrate their engagement

Fans think Linda will kill Nish in support of Sharon

Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) were seen standing over a dead body.

Now fans are convinced they’ve cracked who the killer is this Christmas after spotting a clue in a scene from Monday night’s episode.

At the celebration of King Charles’ Coronation in the Queen Vic tonight, Karen went missing and was later found visiting Suki.

Karen pleaded with Suki to convince Ravi and Nish to stop their threats and stand down, expressing her fear about the limited time she had left with Keanu.

She didn’t want to spend her remaining days looking over her shoulder and living in constant fear.

Later in the pub, Nish and Suki arrived to a very unhappy Sharon and Keanu.

Nish told them: “I heard you didn’t feel you could celebrate without my permission” and handed them a bottle of champagne.

He added: “Stick to what we said and no need for us to be at loggerheads.”

Linda is now believed to be the one to murder Nish to support Sharon’s love for Keanu, or the rest of the characters may join forces with Suki to eliminate Nish permanently.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Two women [Sharon and Linda] who are absolutely gonna bring down Nish #EastEnders.”

Another added: “I can’t wait to see that smug smile wiped off Nish’s face.”

A third penned: “Suki and Karen need to team up to take down Nish. Karen has been abused herself and knows that Chantelle was also abused.

“Suki is between a rock and a hard place at the moment with Nish and needs people on her side to bring him down including Eve Karen Stacey etc. #EastEnders.”

EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw previously said there were more clues in the Christmas flashforward scene that fans have missed.

He revealed: “I’m not going to give anything away that the episode hasn’t already given, but what I will say is there were clues in there.

“Did you look closely? I urge everyone to re-watch the scene and look at every detail.

“There’s also a few treats in the scene if you look hard enough. What I’d also say is that a lot can happen in Walford between February and December. Circumstances can change, relationships can change, loyalties can change.

“So what you may suspect now could be somewhat different as we make our way through 2023 and head towards Christmas.”

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday from 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
