Chloe Harris and Mackenzie Boyd are on the brink of taking their relationship to the next level as they prepare to get married. However, their blissful future is thrown into uncertainty when baby Reuben faces another health setback in next week's episode of Emmerdale.

A Devoted Mother's Fear

Chloe, a dedicated mother to her son Reuben, is terrified of losing him as he battles yet another health issue. The little one has managed to bring Chloe and Mackenzie closer together, but the ongoing challenges take a toll on their happiness.

Cracks in the Relationship

Mackenzie's infidelity with his former wife Charity Dingle threatens to derail their relationship. Unbeknownst to Chloe, Mackenzie slept with Charity, which adds tension and potential trust issues between the couple. To make matters worse, Charity is finding it difficult to keep her secret and is attempting to move on with Dr. Liam Cavanagh.

Jealousy and Drama Unleashed

Charity, upon hearing about Mackenzie's engagement, turns on the charm and tries to woo flustered Liam. Things take an explosive turn when Chloe and Mackenzie coincidentally end up at the same table as Charity and Liam during a date. Jealousy quickly rises, and Charity's true feelings come to the surface as she lashes out at Liam in front of everyone.

A Desperate Plea

As tensions between Charity and Chloe continue to grow, a cry from baby Reuben sends them both into panic mode. Chloe, recalling his previous battle with meningitis, begs Charity to accompany her to the hospital. Reluctantly, Charity agrees, and the two women find themselves united in their worry for Reuben's health.

Clearing the Air

Once they arrive at the hospital and Reuben is given the all-clear, Chloe is overwhelmed with relief. In this moment, Charity has a chance to come clean about her fling with Mackenzie and mend the broken trust. Will she seize this opportunity, or will she continue to harbor guilt?

Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
