Last night’s instalment of the BBC One soap left fans with their jaws close to the floor as Walford criminal Nish Panesar was arrested for ABH.
The police were tipped that Nish could have pushed his wife Suki (portrayed by Balvinder Sopal) down a flight of stairs, which resulted in her being transported to hospital.
Suki was found by her son Vinny (Shiv Jalota) with her emotionless husband standing over her but the circumstances of her accident remain murky.
While she assured her lover Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) that Nish didn’t hurt her, fears for her safety have grown leading to her husband being taken away.
Tonight, Nish remains in custody as Ravi (Aaron Thiara) gets cross with Suki.
The businesswoman is convinced Eve called the police on Nish, but Eve insists she’s innocent.
Things spiral out of all control when Vinny arrives home full of fury after Ravi reveals his mum had a suitcase packed the night of her accident.
He’s convinced that Suki is plotting against Nish with Eve’s help so she can leave him for another man.
Vinny is determined to get to the truth… but he’s stunned by what he later learns.
As mentioned above, Suki was taken to hospital after being found at the bottom of her stairs but she had time to come of her state of unconsciousness to beg Ravi, who had been called for help, to hide her packed suitcase from Nish.
Ravi put two and two together and realised Suki intended to leave Nish.
Yet when he questioned her in hospital, Suki denied everything, insisting she had been planning a romantic getaway for her and her husband.
