EMMERDALE fans are gutted as Rhona Goskirk and Graham Foster decide to move to France.
Kim Tate is determined to get her former lover Graham out of the village for good in order to protect the secret that Jamie might not be Millie’s biological father.
Her plans are shaken as Graham believes Rhona’s job offer in France is too good to be true – and that Kim is behind it.
However, when Rhona is told that rapist Pierce Harris is up for parole and may return to the village, the job offer becomes her only lifeline.
A distraught Rhona sits on the floor as Graham hands her a glass of water.
She says: “It took everything I had to forget everything he did to me. To forget him. He’s never going away is he? That was my victim liaison officer. Pierce is up for parole. I can’t do this again.”
Graham replies: “You’re stronger than you think. You’re still standing after everything you’ve been through. That takes strength.”
“You don’t know him, that man could break me all over again.”
“We don’t even know if he’ll get parole.”
“I can’t risk that, he knows where I live. But he doesn’t know me in France. France is exactly what I need – this could be a clean slate for the both of us. I know you think Kim is behind it but it’s all in your head.”
“Well, if you’re sure. Okay.”
“Thank you, thank you. We’re really going to do it, yeah?”
However, the news fan-favourite characters Rhona and Graham will be gone from the soap left many fans gutted.
