Next week in Emmerdale, the co-owner of Café Main Street vows revenge on Naomi Anderson for her attack.
Naomi Anderson has no choice but to face the music next week
She’s been revealed as one of Nicola King’s attackers, to the shock of many
But Charles is taking a stand for his daughter
Drama picks up a pace once again in the Dales after the character played by Nicola Wheeler is adamant Naomi (portrayed by Karene Peter) was one of her attackers.
But when PC Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) tells her they don’t have enough evidence to prosecute Naomi, Nicola is close to tears.
As Naomi refuses to come clean about her involvement in the assault, Nicola is left to her own means and decides to take matters into her own hands.
Nicola chastises Naomi’s long-lost father Charles (Kevin Mathurin) for her actions and the vicar is horrified when she also threatens to end his career.
However, his partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) is also thrown into the mix as Nicola threatens her career as a GP.
Fuming, unable to cope with an overwhelming feeling of injustice, Nicola confronts Naomi, demanding the truth from her.
But she’s left seething when Charles sides with the youngster and he’s left uneasy at the thought of Nicola’s planned retribution.
Ethan Anderson (Emile John) receives the same treatment from Rodney Blackstock, Nicola’s father, for supporting his sister but he begins to feel terrible for the struggling café owner.
This triggers a series of harsh consequences for Naomi as her love interest Nate Robinson hears about everything.
Angry, he also confronts her about Nicola’s attack and her lies.
To make matters worse for her, Nate is resistant when she pleads with him to see the real her – and he puts an end to their budding romance before wondering if he was too harsh on her.
ITV viewers may remember that Nicola struggled to even leave her home shortly after her attack as she was convinced her attackers had managed to find her to finish off what they had started.
Nicola was brutally beaten and mugged in June, 2022, and has tried to piece her life back together ever since.
She has even found the strength to talk to the police about the incident.
But can Naomi come clean about her actions after finding herself at the wrong place at the wrong time?
Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
