Emmerdale stars have found a clever way to cash in on their fame by offering personal video messages to fans. And it turns out, these "secret" side hustles can be quite lucrative, with some actors charging as much as £47 per message.
Star-Studded Lineup
Popular Emmerdale actors, including Lisa Riley, Charlotte Bellamy, and Matthew Wolfenden, have all joined a special platform that allows fans to pay a fee in exchange for a message from their favorite characters. Other stars such as Daisy Campbell and Roxy Shahidi have also recently signed up.
How Much Does it Cost?
The Mirror reports that Lisa Riley and James Moore charge a whopping £47 per video message, while Jay Kontzle charges £39 for a simple hello. Matthew Wolfenden offers a more modest rate of £35 per video.
Not Just Actors
It seems Emmerdale's stars are quite the multi-talented bunch. Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle on the show, recently revealed that besides acting, he spends his time DJing as a backup career. In a recent interview, he mentioned his upcoming gigs in Manchester and Charlton over the summer.
"Yeah, I mean, it's kind of soul, funk, reggae, old 60s stuff, it's everything really, but that has been my out-of-work acting job," Hordley said when asked about his musical talents.
