The Aussie soap is going on tour in the UK next March

He walks into the cafe as the two women discuss Neighbours coming to an end and takes a selfie with Kellie as Linda.

Meanwhile another Neighbours star – Ryan Moloney – has teased the soap will go on – with a twist.

The 42-year-old actor played Jarrod “Toadfish” Rebecchi in the Australian soap for 27 years, and featured prominently in the show’s final episode, which aired Down Under on Thursday.

Ahead of UK viewers seeing the last ever episode tonight, Ryan spoke to Good Morning Britain about the show, and how it isn’t necessarily the end of it.

He said: “This is farewell to Neighbours…. and a farewell tour, and I’m coming to say goodbye!

“Yeah there’s 15 shows Bath, Newcastle, Belfast, and three nights in the London Palladium.”

The tour takes place in March next year and promises to be “the ultimate celebration of all things Ramsay Street.”

The official description reads: “We will be flying over some of the biggest and best names from the show all the way from the other side of the globe.

“This celebration will give Neighbours fans a chance to reminisce on your favourite Erinsborough moments from across the last 37 years.

“Join us as we look back at some of the footage from across the years, enjoy never before heard stories from the cast as they are interviewed live on the stage, plus surprises and a q&a session at the end.

“This will be the ultimate night for any Neighbours fan – and the perfect way to say ‘farewell’ to one of Britain’s most-loved soaps.”

While the website says the cast is to be confirmed, Ryan made no secret of the fact he’s part of it.

Speaking about the reception the show has had in the UK since it first aired in 1985, he said: “We have felt so much love, thank you so much.”

Australian fans who have already seen the finale were left in tears, with UK viewers set to be the same this evening when it airs on Channel 5.

The finale features some iconic cameos from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Natalie Imbruglia and Guy Pearce.

The final episode of Neighbours airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 5. Tickets for the tour are selling out fast and are available here.
