MONTHS after first rocking up the Dales, Suzy Merton has managed to overcome her old demons.
But she can never truly escape the drama – her fate hangs in the balance after a life-threatening attack next week in Emmerdale.

The drug dealer is targeting those closes to Leyla
After overcoming her cocaine addiction and putting an end to her marriage with Dr Liam Cavanagh, Leyla Harding has a new outlook on life, ready for a fresh start.
Unfortunately, the wedding planner portrayed by Roxy Shahidi got a little too bold in recent scenes of the Yorkshire-based drama as she turned drug dealer Callum (Tom Ashley) in during a night out on the town.
A witness of the scene, Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) was left dreading the worst.
In scenes due to air on ITV, Suzy is proven right to have been worried as Callum tries to get revenge on Leyla.
And sadly for her, Suzy becomes another one of his targets when she smears him as a grass to his criminal associates in an attempt to take him down.
Suzy unfortunately pays the price in later scenes, when Callum appears outside Take A Vow and attacks her with a brick.
Oblivious to her friend’s peril, Leyla tries to phone Suzy, to no avail, just as the latter’s lifeless body is found by Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson).
Suzy is rushed to hospital as Leyla’s guilt grows but she’s angered when the police tell her Callum has an alibi for Suzy’s attack and they have no evidence against him.
Will she make it?
As mentioned above, Callum has a plan for Leyla to teach her a lesson about turning her back on the wrong people.
Following Suzy’s attack, Leyla receives threats from Callum, who is still roaming free.
Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) later finds her sobbing in the graveyard and recommends that she plays to win with Callum.
This piece of advice leaves Leyla ready to take matters into her own hands and she arranges a meet with her adversary.
Dicing with danger, Leyla and Callum meet up but things escalate and he kidnaps her.
Leyla is bound and gagged as a threatening Callum looms.
What will happen to her?
Emmerdale airs from Monday to Friday at 7.30pm on ITV.
