Cracks in the family bond
Charles Anderson has always suspected that his father Victor would bring trouble when he reconnected with the family. And next week, his suspicions are proven right as the criminal flees from Emmerdale.
Victor's redemption shattered
Victor, played by Eddie Osei, had just managed to get back into Claudette’s good books after being thrown behind bars for a failed robbery. He worked hard to repair his broken bond with his estranged wife, Claudette. However, Charles has been less than impressed with his father’s efforts and has been convinced that Victor would disappoint the family once again.
Confrontations and chaos
In scenes airing next week on ITV, Victor's reconnection with Claudette triggers a confrontation with Charles. When Charles accuses him of worming his way into Claudette's life, things turn physical. Claudette catches the argument and berates Charles with a slap. Meanwhile, Charles' partner, Manpreet Sharma, meets with Jai Sharma and offers to return a stolen necklace.
A shocking reveal
Manpreet's offer to return the necklace reveals Charles' true intentions. He becomes incandescent with rage when he realizes that Victor has overheard their argument. Determined to be rid of his father, Charles implores Manpreet to give him another chance. But when Jai arrives to collect the necklace, it goes missing and suspicion falls on Victor.
A race against time
Caught in a lie, Victor makes a hurried escape from Emmerdale. Manpreet calls the police and Victor's guilt seems confirmed when the necklace is found in his pocket. Claudette, determined to find her husband, sets out to search for him. But is Victor truly responsible for the theft? Or has Charles framed him to get rid of him for good?
