Sally Nugent Talks About Her Experience on Strictly

BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent, who was recently revealed as one of the celebrities participating in this year's Strictly Come Dancing festive special, has given an update on her progress. Speaking to her co-star Jon Kay on BBC Breakfast, Nugent admitted that she is not a dancer and finds learning the routines challenging. However, she also mentioned that she is having a lot of fun in the process.

It's Not a Competition for Sally Nugent

During the conversation, Jon Kay referred to the Christmas Special as a competition, but Nugent quickly corrected him, saying that she is just taking part and not competing. She emphasized that she is not very good at dancing and joked that she looks like a tense newsreader when she tries to perform the dance routines.

Meeting Her Competitors

Nugent also talked about the other celebrities participating in the Strictly Christmas Special and mentioned that they are all better dancers than her. However, she expressed her excitement about making friends with her fellow contestants.

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special will feature Nugent alongside historian Dan Snow, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan, former rugby player Danny Cipriani, and actress Tillie Amartey. BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
