Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has fired back at a fan who claimed he is underscoring Layton Williams. This comes after Craig only gave the Bad Education star a 9 on Saturday night's show, despite a flawless Argentine Tango that received tens from the other judges.

Questionable Scoring

Craig did not provide any negative critique following Layton's performance, simply stating "A.May.Zing." This left fans baffled as to why he did not give Layton and his pro partner Nikita Kuzmin full marks for their bewitching routine, which was set to Eurovision winner Loreen's Tattoo.

Challenging the Judge

One disgruntled viewer took to X, formerly Twitter, to directly challenge Craig and criticize his scoring. The fan accused him of giving 10 points to Angela Rippon in recent weeks, but only a 9 to Layton's outstanding performance. Craig fired back, pointing out that he actually gave Angela a 9 as well.

The Backlash

Others soon joined in the debate, questioning Craig's decision. Some argued that since he didn't provide any critique or areas of improvement, he must have believed Layton's performance was perfect and deserved a 10. Despite the controversy, Layton still received the highest score of the night on Saturday.

The Bottom Two

Meanwhile, Angela Rippon found herself in the bottom two alongside Krishnan Guru-Murthy. In the end, it was the Channel 4 newsreader who was eliminated from the competition.

Overall, Craig Revel Horwood remains a controversial figure on the Strictly judging panel, with his scoring decisions often sparking debate among fans.
