HAMZA Yassin has been crowned the winner of Strictly Come Dancing after a closely fought final.

The four finalists took to the floor with three routines tonight, Judge’s Choice, their favourite dance from the series and a show dance.

Hamza had cried a number of times during the final, and it wasn’t long before he was in tears after Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced his name alongside his pro partner Jowita PrzystaÅ‚.

Asked how he felt, he said: “Words can’t describe how I feel.”

He then turned to Jowita and said she was “an angel disguised as a human” before adding it was “the best thing that has ever happened” to him.

Hamza opened the show with his Salsa, chosen by the judges, and was followed by Molly with her Quickstep.

Fleur was the first celebrity of the night to get a perfect 40 for her Samba, before Helen took to the floor with her Jive.

Next up was their showdances, with all of them receiving mixed comments from the judges as well as some eight scores.

After the two routines, Fleur was top with the judges, while Hamza found himself at the bottom after making a couple of mistakes during his routine.

Thankfully for him he bounced back with his favourite routine, his Couple’s Choice with his partner Jowita, scoring a perfect 40.

Meanwhile Molly and her partner Carlos performed their Rumba, once again impressing the judges with the notoriously difficult dance style and scored 39.

Fleur was back with her Couple’s Choice which scored her 40 first time around and did the same again in the final.

Helen was the last to perform on the night, dancing her sexy Couple’s Choice with partner Gorka once again.

It landed her her first perfect score of the series and the leaderboard finished with Fleur on top, followed by Helen, then Molly and Hamza fourth.

But despite the judge’s rankings, the public got behind Hamza and voted him their king of the ballroom.
