STRICTLY crews were sent into shock today after a plane made an emergency landing just metres away from them.

Unexpected Incident

Workers had been setting up at Blackpool Tower this evening, but were left stunned over the unexpected incident.

Emergency Landing

At around 6pm, coastguard and other emergency vehicles were called after reports of a downed light aircraft on Blackpool Beach were made.

Close Proximity

The site of the landing was less than a mile from where Strictly's stars are staying during their visit.

No Injuries

Fortunately, it's believed no injuries were sustained.

Controversy on the Show

Ahead of this week's episode, show fans have claimed Annabel Croft is being "set up" to leave the competition.

Viewers were up in arms over Sunday's dance off "fix" after Angela Rippon was saved over Krishnan Guru-Murthy.

Predictions for Annabel Croft

Now some are predicting Wimbledon ace Annabel is next for the chop – after being given the same dance as Angela.

They reckon the pair will end up in the bottom two after performing on the iconic dance floor – but Angela will be saved again amid a row over judges' favoritism.

Viewer Reactions

"The producers are setting up Annabelle to go next," said one furious viewer.

"Unsurprisingly it's the same dance as Angela R.

"Both will be in the dance off where the judges will conclude, even though Annabelle danced better and Angela R made three mistakes, but the choreography was better so Angela R is saved."

Someone argued back: "I'm not sure anyone could argue Adam or Krishnan danced better in their respective dance off with her, even if she did have the odd slip.

"Anyone with the slightest knowledge of technique that is."
