Strictly Come Dancing is in full swing, with a battle on the dance floor every weekend.

Each week the line-up of stars show off their fancy footwork in a bid to impress the judges – but sadly one person has to leave the show.

Who Left Strictly Come Dancing Last Night?

Adam Thomas was the sixth celebrity to leave Strictly.

He and professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk failed to impress the judges and viewers, and waltzed off for the last time.

Adam was in the dance off with Angela Rippon, with judge Anton Du Beke, saying it was a "very tough decision" to decide who to send home.

Ultimately it was the Waterloo Road star who was voted off.

Speaking about his exit, Adam praised his "seven incredible weeks" on the show, saying: "What a journey it’s been. I honestly thought I was leaving in week two and the fact that I’ve got this far I’m so proud of myself.

"I’ve had an amazing time from start to finish. I came here to learn how to dance and I’ve learned so much more about myself.

"The confidence and self-belief I now have in myself, it’s out of this world I have to thank all these guys up here. What a bunch to be on this journey with. I’m just very, very lucky!"

It comes after Adam revealed his illness meant he had to miss out on hours of training.

He told HOAR last week: "I’m surprised I’ve lasted this long without getting ill.

"I had to miss work and a bit of training."

He was also forced to pull out of Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two last month due to the debilitating illness.
