TEARFUL Shirley Ballas comforted a crying Will Mellor after he dedicated his dance tonight to his dad.
Hollyoaks actor Will and pro dancer Nancy Xu waltzed to Three Times A Lady by Commodores in memory of his father Bill, who died in April 2020 after being diagnosed with cancer two weeks earlier.

He became tearful after the performance and also left judge Motsi Mabuse speechless.
Shirley stepped in and her voice cracked as she told Will: “Well dancing is one thing, but after watcing the beautiful relationship you have with your mum, it makes me miss my own son.
“Your dancing, your feeling, the footwork, it was fantastic.”
Judge Anton Du Deke described his footwork as “immaculate” and praised how they had moved together as a couple.
Afterwards, Will wiped away a tear and admitted he still was unable to speak.
Taking over for him, Xu also became tearful as she said: “We wanted to dedicate this dance to anyone who has lost loved ones and didn’t get to say goodbye.”
Will earned 38 points out of a possible 40.
