As a supporting character, Diona’s HP and energy recharge are her most important stats.
These will maximise her shield’s value and allow you to heal the party more often.
Elegy for the End is the best weapon for Diona as it provides a lot of energy recharge.
It also adds an effect that triggers when Diona’s elemental burst hits opponents.

Best artifacts for Diona in Genshin Impact
You also have to consider these two stats when considering Diona’s artifact set.
Two pieces of Tenacity of the Millelith will boost Diona’s maximum HP by 20%.
Add in two pieces of Emblem of Severed Fate to provide a 20% boost to her energy recharge as well.
If no one else is wearing it, a full set of Noblesse Oblige would also work for her.

Ayaka is the core of many solid Freeze teams, and Diona works well to create Cryo resonance.
This will help Ayaka with not only her damage output, but also will assist in charging her elemental burst.
When combined with Mona’s Hydro application, Ayaka’s attacks will leave enemies frozen.
As always, Kazuha groups enemies together and shreds their elemental resistances.
