Xbox Fans Concerned
Following the announcement that formerly Xbox-exclusive games would be coming to other platforms, fans were worried that Xbox could be dropping out of the console market. Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Grounded, and Sea of Thieves have all been confirmed to be released on PlayStation or Switch sometime this year.
New Console on the Horizon
In a recent Xbox Podcast, the President of Xbox, Sarah Bond, said that there would be information on a new console in mid-2024. A leaked presentation by Xbox during the FTC court case revealed a new Xbox Series X, codenamed Brooklin, with a scheduled release date in October 2024.
Changes and Updates
Despite initial plans, it seems the new Xbox Series X may now be white instead of black, to match the Xbox Series S. Fans speculate on the release date and price, with hints of a possible price drop similar to Sony's strategy before unveiling the PS5 Slim.
