Nintendo has just revealed the highly anticipated release date for a massive update coming to Pokémon. Fans can finally mark their calendars for the exciting new content.

The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero: Part One

In September of this year, the first part of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC, titled "The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero," was released. Players were tasked with finding the Loyal Three and saving Ogerpon. The DLC, known as The Teal Mask, launched on September 13, 2023.

Coming Soon: The Indigo Disk

Now, the second part of the DLC, The Indigo Disk, is on the horizon. Set to launch on Thursday, December 14, 2023, this expansion will introduce an array of thrilling new features and challenges.

81 New Pokémon to Battle With

The Indigo Disk will bring a total of 81 new Pokémon to the game, allowing players to amp up their battles against other students in the academy. And the best part? You can still use your existing Pokémon team in the DLC.

Returning Favorites and New Additions

Scarlet and Violet will see the return of beloved Pokémon like Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Lapras. Additionally, there will be a number of completely new Pokémon joining the roster. Some notable newcomers include Incineroar, Whimsicott, and Smeargle.
