Switch owners are in for a treat as Nintendo Switch Online unveils a new selection of retro games, completely free for subscribers. The service offers a library of over 200 games spanning various classic consoles at no additional cost.
Rare Super Nintendo Titles
This time around, the spotlight is on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System with games that have never before been released outside of Japan. The latest update includes Super R-Type, Wrecking Crew '98, and Amazing Hebereke.
Exciting Game Selection
Super R-Type, a challenging side-scrolling shooter, was first released in Europe in 1992. Wrecking Crew '98 features Mario in an intriguing puzzle game, previously exclusive to Japan. Amazing Hebereke, a top-down party brawler with a unique story mode, is also creating buzz among fans.
Access for Subscribers
All three games are now accessible through the Nintendo Switch Online – Super Nintendo Entertainment System app, available for free to subscribers. In addition to SNES games, subscribers to the base service can enjoy NES, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color titles. There's also an option to upgrade to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, which introduces Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, and Sega Mega Drive games, along with free DLC for select Nintendo titles like Splatoon 2 and Animal Crossing.
