HIDDEN Gems has just started, and big changes have come to Pokémon Go.
Embracing summer, Pokémon Go is holding a beach-themed event, with two new Pokémon debuts.
Axew is coming to Community Day!
The first Community Day of the season is here with a Dragon-type target.
Here’s everything that’s happening in Pokémon Go from June 5 to June 11.
Crabs take the spotlight
This week’s Spotlight Hour will take place on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 6pm local time.
All crab-like Pokémon, including Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, Clauncher, and Crabrawler, will be taking the spotlight.
These crabs all evolve and it’s the perfect time to add a new bunch of ‘mons and evolutions to your dex.
There will also be 3x XP for any Pokémon caught during this hour.
Water Festival: Beach Week begins
Beach Week will start on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 10am local time, and end on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 8pm local time.
Sandygast and Pallosand will make their debuts along with a global challenge.
Pokémon Go will challenge players to land 300million ‘Nice’ throws over the event’s duration.
Beach-themed Pokémon will become more common, including a number of Water-types and Alolan Exeggutor.
The Lake Trio are available in raids
Raid Hour will take place on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 6pm local time.
Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf will all be available to catch in five-star raids this week, depending on your location.
Asia Pacific will receive Uxie, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India will get Mesprit, and the Americas can catch Azelf.
This is made all the more plentiful in Raid Hour, where the three can be found in every gym.
Mega Swampert is kicking out Mega Altaria from Mega Raids.
Summer comes to the Go Battle League
The Go Battle League will change on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 9pm UK time.
The Great League will remain with a CP limit of 1.5k, but the Summer Cup will change to the Ultra League Edition.
Pokémon must be a maximum of 2.5k CP in order to enter, and only Normal-, Fire-, Water-, Grass-, Electric-, and Bug-type Pokémon are eligible.
Axew is up for grabs on Community Day
Community Day will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 2pm until 5pm local time.
Axew will be the star of this day, with a chance to catch a shiny.
If you are able to evolve Axew into Haxorus around this event, it will also know the special Charged Attack Breaking Swipe.
The middle evolution Fraxure will also be available in four-star raids.
