Unveiling a new Pokémon legend
Pokémon players were thrilled with the recent game update that introduced hundreds of new Pokémon. While 25 legendaries were expected to make a return, players were surprised to discover an additional hidden legendary.
Where to find the secret Pokémon
The elusive Pokémon, Meloetta, can be found in the Coastal Biome, east of the Outdoor Classroom. Look for a plain with two large trees and a bush in between. The bush will be surrounded by a leafy whirlwind.
The key to catching Meloetta
To spawn Meloetta, you must spin the left stick until your character starts to do a pirouette. Maintain the pirouette for at least 10 seconds, spinning in the same direction as the whirlwind. Once done, open the camera app in the game and switch to selfie mode with the Y button. Press left on the D-Pad to apply the Sepia filter. Spin around with your camera and look for Meloetta in the background. Capture it on film and then close the camera to encounter it in battle.
