If you're feeling stuck on a PS5 game, fear not. Two clever tricks are here to save the day.
PS5 Trick #1 – Pin It!
The first trick involves uncovering your PlayStation's hidden web browser. By loading up websites and pinning them to the side of your screen, you can keep a helpful walkthrough or YouTube tutorial visible at all times.
This ingenious hack was discovered by a Reddit user who exclaimed, "Just found out you can pin websites to the side of your screen while playing."
To activate this feature, simply send or receive a website link via a chat message with a friend on your PS5. Click the link and a web browser will open. From there, press Options and pin the browser to the side of your screen. By double-tapping the PS button on your controller, you can effortlessly switch between the game and the pinned website.
PS5 Trick #2 – Game Help
Sony has also included a hidden Game Help feature within the console to offer players a helping hand.
"During PS5 development, our research revealed that the majority of players seek out help for their games," explained Sony. "Almost half of them get stuck in a game on a weekly basis, and more than half encounter spoilers when seeking assistance."
Available in various games, including Astro's Playroom, Maquette, Oddworld: Soulstorm, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, this feature is exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
When you find yourself facing a gaming roadblock, simply press the PS button. If Game Help is supported for the title you're playing, a hint card will appear on the Control Center. Tap it and select the objective you're struggling with for some assistance.
Using L1/R1, you can navigate between different hints and even pin them to the side of your screen, allowing you to continue playing while the tips remain visible.
