Viewers think they know that Jacket Potato is Shane Richie after one clue

Last week fans were convinced Jacket Potato is EastEnders legend Shane Richie after their performance of Elvis Presley’s song Viva Las Vegas.

Meanwhile other guesses included Jack Whitehall, Sean Paul and Alex James.

Some completely missed a tell-tale sign that it IS actually the soap star.

Jacket Potato‘s song could be a reference to a TV show that Shane has appeared in five years ago.

The actor starred in ITV’s Last Laugh In Vegas back in 2018.

Shane made an appearance in the fourth episode where he American city with eight other celebs.

Others believe Jacket Potato is a guitar-slinging American rockstar.

Viewers deducing the clues at home think that former Bon Jovi axeman Richie Sambora is the man behind the mask.

In the eccentric spud’s VT, the character had a Romeo and Juliet book, and there is line in the Bon Jovi song Always that says: “This Romeo is bleeding”.

There was also a clue that the person was a ‘stadium-filling’ star as well as a nod to the distorted vocals on anthem Livin’ On A Prayer.

The clue “my collection will leave you going woah!” could also be a nod to Richie’s extensive selection of guitars.
