Miles also did it – viewers were furious and didn’t hold back expressing their concern for the contestants

Former Love Island star, Amber Davies and Made in Chelsea‘s Miles Nazaire left those at home shocked as they defied the rules and executed the dangerous maneuver on the ice.

The death-defying headbanger – or bounce spin – ice dancing lift involves a skater being picked up by the ankle and spun around by their partner.

The risky move involves swinging the skater, with their head dangerously close to the ice.

It’s so dangerous that it’s actually banned by the International Skating Union (ISU), the governing body for competitive skating.

In tonight’s episode former Love Island star, Amber and Made in Chelsea’s Miles decided to take the risk, much to the dismay of fans.

Viewers were furious and didn’t hold back in sharing their frustration and concern for the contestants.

Taking to X/Twitter, one wrote: “What is going on? Amber is not solo skating. Yeah she done a c*ap headbanger and a good spin, but come on!!!”

A second added: “Here we go again with the “headbanger!” One of these times it will be literally a headbanger and someone will be seriously hurt! Then Torvill and Dean will be “so upset” and insisting they never thought it would happen!”

A third complained: “I always get nervous when someone does the headbanger.”

A fourth wrote: “Am I the only one that flinches everytime someone does the headbanger?! I am so scared of seeing someone smash their skull open”

A fifth added: “Eyes closed every time they bring that blooming headbanger out.”

The headbanger move has always been a controversial and thrilling element of the competition.

However, with safety being of paramount importance, its ban was put in place to prevent any potential injuries.

Meanwhile, Ryan Thomas suffered a nasty fall during the musicals week performance.

The actor fell over early into his performance, before taking a second tumble just seconds later.

Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern about his performance, he said: “I’ve not hurt myself, I just hope my kids aren’t watching this one because it’s so embarrassing.”

“Can I just say to everyone here, that is the most important thing. Just hearing your voices, thank you so much,” he added.
