RYAN Thomas is officially getting ready for the Dancing On Ice finale – and while he’s topping up his fake tan ahead of the big night, he’s got himself a fan from a surprising star.

The Corrie actor is up against radio DJ Adele Roberts, Made In Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire and sports star Greg Rutherford for the trophy tonight – and is pulling out all the stops for the win.

Ryan stripped down for one last spray tan – and shared the process with his fans

Tyson Fury sent him a video to cheer him on

On top of stripping down to his pants for one final dark tan, Ryan has also found some much-needed support from an unusual source – boxing legend Tyson Fury.

In a video Ryan shared to his Instagram story, Fury – wearing a bright red shirt, beamed as he said: “Hi. Tyson Fury here, good luck to Ryan Thomas! All the best Ryan, smash it. Good luck, mate.”

Ryan wrote alongside the clip: “If it’s good enough for [Ricky Hatton], it’s good enough for me. Thank you brother.”

As well as performing for the win one last time, the final two will go head-to-head with their version of Bolero – the routine made famous by show judges Torvill and Dean.

Whoever is crowned champion will take home the esteemed trophy – and be added to the winners Hall Of Fame which has previously included soap star Ray Quinn, Strictly’s James Jordan, and Radio DJ Sonny Jay.

Olympic artistic gymnast Nile Wilson and Olivia Smart won last year’s competition.

Ryan’s journey on the show has been far from easy – even suffering two falls in a single live routine.

Speaking to the media ahead of the finale, Ryan joked: “If I’d known how hard it was I may not have done it!”

“But you know what it’s what goes on behind the scenes, the people are so lovely from the judges to the coaches, to the pros. They are a good, solid bunch,” he added.

“I love people, and they’ve made this experience amazing for me. It’s just bloody hard work. It caught me off-guard. I feel like I have done so many shows and challenges.

“I thought this was another one but this one has been a bit of a beast. It caught me off-guard, it’s the hardest challenge to date.

“I can at least look back and say I got to the final.”

Dancing On Ice finale airs tonight on ITV.
