Dec Donnelly was caught off guard when he was playfully ‘punched’ in the stomach by I’m A Celeb star Fred Sirieix. The unexpected moment left Dec in a bit of pain, but he managed to laugh it off.
Co-host Comes to the Rescue
Dec’s co-presenter, Ant McPartlin, quickly jumped in and shouted, “Oi leave him alone!” It’s clear that Ant had Dec’s back during the playful altercation.
Caught on Camera
The exchange between Dec and Fred was captured from a distance by the camera crew. As the camera panned out, Dec could be seen holding his stomach after the impact.
Fred’s Fighting Spirit
Fred was in the jungle ‘stadium’ to support his teammate Sam Thompson. On his way in, he held up his fist to cheer but decided to playfully prod Dec in the stomach instead.
The Challenge
The challenge, called Touchdown of Terror, involved Nella and Sam facing off against Grace and Nigel. Despite the home team initially taking the lead, Nella pulled her emergency cord to end her time in the trial.
A Close Call
During the challenge, Grace had a critter in her ear, causing her distress. However, the medic was able to flush it out and confirm that it had been removed.
The Results
With the scores very close at 2-1, Nella’s emergency cord pull resulted in a default win for the Away team. Dec congratulated them and announced that they would be getting dinner, while the Home team would have to settle for rice and beans.
