I’M A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans have all been left in agreement after Olivia Attwood’s shock exit from the jungle.

The Love Island beauty is currently heading back to the UK after being withdrawn on medical grounds.

I’m A Celeb fans are worried the show will fall flat without Olivia Attwood
The Love Island star has left the camp just hours after the 2022 series premiered

Olivia has since broken her silence and insisted that she is “heartbroken”, adding that medics ruled it was “not safe” for her to return to camp.

I’m A Celebrity viewers – who will see her exit in tonight’s show – have been left gutted by Olivia’s departure. And for one reason in particular.

Fans are worried that the ITV1 show will now lack “drama” and “entertainment” without the feisty blonde reality star there to provide it.

One wrote on Twitter: “Gutted Olivia has already left, one of the only interesting people in the jungle this year, and was hoping she’d stir the pot a bit too so we finally have some drama! reckon it’s gonna be another snooze fest of a series now.”

Another agreed: “Absolutely gutted to hear that Olivia Attwood has been forced to leave the jungle on medical grounds… wanted her on this show for years and know she would have provided us with so much entertainment, she was there for such a short time.”

And a third chimed in: “Olivia Attwood was probably going to be the most entertaining campmate of the series.”

News of Olivia’s shock exit from I’m A Celebrity came just hours after the 2022 series got underway in Australia.

It is the first time hosts Ant and Dec and the production team have been able to shoot the ITV1 show Down Under since 2019.

The medical team ruled it was “not safe” for Olivia to return to camp following a drama overnight.

But in a cryptic message, her rep said: “You will hear the truth from her in due course.”

Writing on Olivia’s Instagram story, a “Team Liv” spokesman wrote: “To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement.

“She dreamed of doing I’m A Celebrity for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

“However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short.

“Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.

“You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year.”

Olivia had made history as the first person from Love Island to go in the jungle.

She was crowned a VIP in a public vote, and picked radio star Chris Moyles to join her for the special treatment.

But despite lasting just a day, she is now heading home and will still get paid her £125k fee following the early exit, which is reportedly between £100k to £125k.

“Olivia wanted to continue and because it was the medical team’s decision she has done nothing wrong and so should be in line to get paid,” a TV source told The Mirror.

A rep for I’m A Celebrity said:  “As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation.

“She has been absolutely brilliant and she’ll be very much missed on the show.”
