I’M A Celebrity fans were amazed by Chris Moyles’ transformation following his incredible weight loss – after Olivia Attwood failed to recognise him.

They were the first two campers to arrive in tonight’s launch episode and made a grand entrace in black limos and on a red carpet.

I’m A Celebr’s Chris Moyles and Olivia Attwood were the first stars to make their entrance on Sunday night
Olivia told Chris ‘you look different’

Viewers were in hysterics over the awkward scenes

Chris Moyles

The Radio X presenter hasn’t always lead the healthiest lifestyle

They introduced themselves in a VT before landing at a posh villa, where they stood around a table getting to know one another.

However, when Olivia, 31, walked in she had no idea who Chris was.

After the Radio X DJ, 48, revealed his name she flashed a blank face, before syaing: “You look different!”

Viewers spotted the gaffe and admitted watching their awkward introductions made for TV gold.

One said on Twitter: “Does nobody recognise Chris Moyles? ?

Another scoffed: “Hilarious when the ‘celebs’ don’t recognise each other #awks”

A third said: “Why does this look like a really awkward first date”

Broadcaster Charlene White also drew a blank when she saw Chris, who shed six stone around a decade ago after leaving Radio One.

Another fan spotted: “Charlene knew Olivia like she’s that famous and acted like she had no idea who Chris moyles was..

Chris told viewers: “I am Chris Moyles and I am the greatest broadcaster of my generation.

“But most people know me as the fat DJ from Radio One.”

Chris and Olivia later chatted over lunch after being nominated Jungle VIPs.

The line-up for the series comprises of Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner, 80s legend Boy George, comedian Babatunde Aléshéa, Love Island star Olivia Attwood, Loose Women’s Charlene White, radio DJ Chris Moyles, Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver, rugby Royal Mike Tindall, England football star Jill Scott, and TV presenter Scarlette Douglas.

They will be joined in a few days time by stand-up comic Seann Walsh, and former health secretary Matt Hancock.

Bushtucker trials will, as always, be voted for by the public for the first half of the series, before the public vote switches to who to vote out of the jungle.

Who will take over the crown from reigning champion, Emmerdale’s Danny Miller?

I’m A Celebrity airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV.
