Official records reveal payments to Jamie Lynn’s husband

Jamie Lynn Spears, who recently left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, claimed on the reality show that she has never taken anything from her famous sister, Britney Spears. However, official records show that her husband’s firm, Advanced Multimedia Partners, was paid over £147k ($187k) by Britney’s estate. These payments were made while Jamie Lynn was allegedly a trustee of Britney’s estate.

Investigation into the conservatorship

The allegations of these payments were made in court documents by Sherine Ebadi, an ex-FBI agent hired by Britney’s lawyers to investigate her conservatorship. The documents show that Jamie Lynn’s husband’s firm received payments for professional services fees, repairs, and maintenance at Britney’s Louisiana home from 2012 to 2020. Additional payments were made for similar work at a warehouse in Britney’s hometown of Kentwood, LA.

Jamie Lynn’s role as a trustee

In 2018, court documents revealed that Jamie Lynn had been appointed as a trustee of Britney’s SJB Recoverable Trust, which controls Britney’s assets. However, Jamie Lynn later claimed that she declined the role and had no oversight of funds. The conservatorship was ended in 2022.

Cash flow and real estate purchases

Jamie Lynn’s husband, Jamie Watson, has benefitted from several payouts in recent years, including the payments from Britney’s estate. His trucking firm, Fluker Transportation LLC, also received over $230k in Covid PPP loans, which were forgiven. Despite this, Jamie and Jamie Lynn have been buying real estate across Louisiana, while also facing unpaid tax debts.

Jamie Lynn’s departure from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

After making several revelations about her relationship with Britney on the reality show, Jamie Lynn left the show on medical grounds. She had previously denied taking any money from her sister and stated that she just wanted to be her sister. A spokesperson for the show confirmed her departure, praising her as a fantastic campmate.
