MATT Hancock is already so hated on I’m A Celebrity, the crew are running a backstage sweepstake to relish every moment of the disgraced MP’s torment.

The cheeky game includes bets on who the Tory MP, 44, will clash with first, how long until he cries and how many trials he’ll be forced to endure by angry viewers.

A source said Ant and Dec have some ‘stinging one liners’ planned for the disgraced former Health Secretary

Behind the scenes, the ITV staff have also planted wagers on how long it will be until someone mentions Downing Street’s ‘Partygate’ scandal where government staff broke Covid rules at a number of illegal bashes.

And the crew are also waiting for the first mention of Hancock’s final faux pas – the cheating scandal that forced his resignation as Health Secretary.

Matt was exposed by HOAR last year when he cheated on his wife Martha Hoyer Millar with his closest aide Gina Coladangelo, 43 – breaking his own Covid rules in the process.

A camp source said: “Over the years the crew on I’m A Celeb have seen it all, but it’s fair to say there’s not been a buzz about one of the campmates quite like that around Hancock.

“The sweepstake is about things like who he will row with, how many trials he will have to do, if he cries but then also how long it will take for another of the campmates to tackle the elephant in the room and mention all the Tory party f**k ups.

“The money’s on Boy George to destroy him, Charlene to grill him like she’s Piers Morgan and then Chris Moyles and Mike to make him the butt of all the jokes.”

Separately, the source has told HOAR that producers are hell bent on cramming every moment of Matt’s torment into the edit to “get their money’s worth” of the £350k fee out of him.

His signing came with a huge backlash, with a petition against the move reaching 44,000 signatures.

Dad-of-three Matt, who is now a backbench MP, had the whip removed after he told PM Rishi Sunak about his role on I’m A Celebrity.

And the source revealed Ant and Dec have some “stinging one liners” planned.

On an Instagram Live yesterday lunchtime Ant commented: “I think a lot of people are going to be screaming at the telly.

“But I don’t know the man so let’s wait and see.”

An ITV spokesman did not respond to request for comment.
