B&M shoppers are rushing to buy a three-piece garden set that is scanning at the tills for just £25 down from £200.

One bargain hunter managed to grab this great deal from the popular discounter by using one simple hack.

The garden set scanned at the tills for just £25 instead of £200

The table and chairs were showing as being discounted to £175 on the shelf

The Madison three-piece rocking set usually retails for £200 in the discount retailer.

On the shelves it was marked down to £175 giving a saving of £25 on the original price.

But one savvy shopper managed to pick up the deal for much cheaper by checking the price of the set on the B&M scanner and it came up for just £25.

She told HOAR: “I used the scanner to check the price and couldn’t leave it there for that price.”

She shared her amazing find to the B&M Scanner And Other Bargains Facebook group and other bargain hunters were quick to comment.

One said: “How do you find them this cheap?”

And another commented: “Why does this never happen to us?”

While another added: “Wow that’s awesome, well done for spotting all your bargains.”

Natalie managed to pick up quite a few other bits in her shopping haul including cushions reduced from £8 to £2, planters from £18 down to £5 and a set of lights from £10 down to £1.

If she had bought all of the items she bought at full price it would have cost her £728.50, but instead, she spent just £143.75.

We asked Natalie what her top tip is for finding bargains at B&M.

She said: “I would just always use the scanner on the app to check prices as if it’s cheaper that will tell you.”

Bargain hunter Natalie Hughes recommends always checking the price on the B&M scanner as you could get some big discounts

It is always worth shopping around to make sure that you are getting the cheapest deal.

You can use comparison sites such as Google Shopping which will show you the prices of products from different shops.

We had a look around to see what other retailers were offering on similar table and chair sets.

The Range had a rocking chair and table set reduced from £120 to £99.

Robert Dyas also had a three-piece table and chair set reduced from £115 to £91, although the chairs were just standard ones, rather than rocking chairs.

TJ Huges had a rocking chair and table set reduced from £149 to £129 in its sale.

It does seem like this B&M offer is the cheapest around at the moment but prices and stock levels change daily so it is worth doing your own research.

You can find your nearest B&M using the store finder on the website, but remember just because this offer was in one store does not mean that the same applies to all.

How does the B&M scanner work and how can I get it?

The barcode scanner in the app lets you see if the item’s price is cheaper than advertised on the shop shelf.

The B&M scanner is located on the B&M Stores mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on your smartphone.

Shoppers can download it on the App Store or Google Play.

Once you’ve got the app, click on the “scan” button at the bottom of your homepage.

This will then bring up the camera on your smartphone, which you’ll need to use to scan barcodes.

When you’ve found a product you want to scan, simply point your smartphone camera toward its barcode.

The app will then automatically bring up the item’s price – this is when you’ll know if it is reduced or not.

Bargain hunters say some items come up as £1, 50p or even 10p through the app.

But of course, not all items will scan at a lower price – so don’t be disappointed if the thing you’re after isn’t reduced.

Quite often, you’ll need to have plenty of time on your hands to go around and scan a lot of items in store.

While the reductions can seem random, it’s usually items that are seasonal or old stock.

Another thing to note is that the reductions do sometimes vary between stores.

This means that just because something is reduced in one B&M, prices vary from store to store depending on stock levels.

But if you do get lucky and find a bargain, the product should scan at that price at the till.

The scanner only works in stores and not online though.
