Chocolate Easter Nightmare

CADBURY fans were left devastated after their chocolate eggs arrived white-coated and smashed on Easter Sunday. Disappointed customers took to social media to express their frustration with the retailer for the less-than-egg-cellent treats they received.

Wrong Orders and Broken Treats

Some customers received the wrong items, like a bag of mini Cadbury chocolate bites instead of the Fruit and Nut Easter Egg they ordered. Others found their chocolate eggs broken, with one user sharing a picture of a smashed Cadbury Crunchie Egg.

Customer Outrage

One shopper, Ciara Curran, expressed her disappointment after receiving the wrong item, calling it a "ruined" Easter treat. Another customer, Natalie, was upset to find no mini eggs in her big egg, while a mum revealed her son was sent a bag of Wispa chocolates instead of a whole egg.

Cadbury Responds

In response to the complaints, a Cadbury spokesperson advised customers to contact the customer care team for assistance. HOAR Online has reached out to Cadbury for further comment on the matter.

Mini Eggs Product Discontinued

Cadbury fans were further disappointed as the brand announced the discontinuation of the popular 38g Mini Egg Carton, adding to the chocolate Easter nightmare experienced by some customers.
