SHOPPERS are raving over a new winter throw from Home Bargains that’s perfect for starting the festive countdown.

The blanket, which was posted by Home Bargains onto social media, fetched over 200 comments from excited shoppers.

The Grinch Blanket is available in green

And it also comes in red

The throw, which is decorated with The Grinch and costs just £7.99, had fans ready for Christmas.

One wrote under the post: “I want this throw!”

Another put: “Let’s go – I need.”

One tagged a friend, teasing: “I am not satisfied with our haul today! How come we don’t have this stuff!”

And another simple said: “Nah that’s not even optional, I really need this throw though”

It comes in two colours – green and red – but it’s not available on the Home Bargains website.

Instead, you’ll need to visit your local store. But at least you won’t have to deal with extra delivery fees.

You can find your nearest Home Bargains using this handy store locator tool.

But it might be worth calling up to make sure they have it in stock – it could be subject to availability.

Although they’re less festive, you can find a few cheap throws on the website if you’d rather have shopping delivered.

This mint throw costs just £4.99 with an extra £3.49 added on top for delivery charges.

There’s also this green flannel throw, priced at £7.99 – and it comes in a few other colours too which you can browse through if green isn’t your scene.

But if you’re a big fan of The Grinch, you can bag these patterned men’s socks for just £3.99 off the website.

But always remember to have a browse around other shops – you never know what bargains or festive items you might miss.

For example, we recently found this blissful blanket from B&M which costs £15.

Bear in mind the duvet that comes with it seems to be out of stock at the moment, but the throw might still be available.

There’s also this Asda Christmas blanket which costs £6 off its website.

And Tesco has similar cosy stock as well – here’s a soft rabbit-printed Christmas blanket which also costs £6.

Just make sure to check delivery charges for both.

Meanwhile, we recently put together four items you should always look for in Home Bargains – and two you should avoid.
